Studio teaching can take place in a persons home , office, school, or music store. Those who teach at home are self-employed, while others are hired with a school, or store. Most teachers do not teach full-time because of other personal obligations. Various schools have hired music instructors where I reside in the New York area. There are openings, all you have to do is find them.
