Tracfone Has Some Aggressive New Cheap Unlimited Plans that Will Save You Money
Tracfone is one of the most popular low-end prepaid wireless providers. The company is also the largest prepaid provider in the United States, with 12 million annual subscribers who keep coming back for more.The wireless industry has undergone some big changes over the past year. Economic worries and changing business models have created an environment where consumers are no longer only looking at contract wireless plans, but see how they can save money and perhaps have a better experience with a pay as you go plan.

This is quite aggressive and undercuts by five dollars the similar Boost Mobile plan. In addition, the Tracfone Straight Talk plan runs on the Verizon network, which gives it the added strength of a world class network. Boost's network is not so reliable.
For those looking to really save money on their cell phone plan, there is a second Straight Talk plan that is even cheaper. For $30, you receive 1,000 minutes of talk time, 1,000 text messages, and 30 MB of data usage and web surfing. This is a very competitive offering from this prepaid wireless provider.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!!!
I used there automated phone number to activate my phone. After they mad me enter my $30.00 minutes card to activate the phone I was told it would be activated in up to one hour. 2 hours later i called customer service and was told by them it could take up to 24 hours.
They provided no help and as much as said oh well just wait the 24 hours.
This company LIES to you when you activate one of their phones.
DON NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!!

I didn't know about StraightTalk until this past Christmas when I received it as a gift form my husband. Guess he was paying attention to my constant complaints about cell phone bills after all. He told me that he did some research and found it to be the best deall out there. I'm so proud of my hubby :)
Sam, I agree. Straight Talk is a very good plan--especially for those people who want to save money on their cell phones while still keeping good service. And the fact that it's on Verizon's network is just icing on the cake.

Just beware. I went with Straight Talk in July 09 and in September 09 I went to pay my bill and they no longer covered my area. That's it. No more service through them. There was no warning whatsoever; no letter, not even a text message. Funny they didn't have a problem texting me every month when I bill was coming due. But there was nothing when they were no longer going to cover an area. I had service one day and the next I didn't. Thank God I didn't buy the $100 phone.
