New CP's or Content Producers always have tons of questions. I am going to help dispel some of the questions and help you make the most of your time with Associated Content so that you can best understand how the site works, and how you can increase the amount of money that it is possible to make here. There is another FAQ on the site that AC produces itself, however this will answer questions not handled in the official FAQ.

Question 1. What is a CM?

Answer - A CM is short for a Content Manager, they are employed by Associated Content, or AC for short and they are the people who review all of the submissions that are submitted. They review all audio, video and articles that are submitted so that the payment offers can be decided upon.

Question 2. I live in Canada, can I still submit for payment?

Answer - Unfortunately at this time the answer is no, unless you are a United States citizen, and have a valid U.S. Social Security number, you are not able to submit content for pay. This may change at some point in the future. If however, you live in Canada or another country and are a citizen of the United States, you may submit for payment.

Question 3. My submissions have been waiting for more than 5 days, is this normal?

Answer - The goal of Associated Content is to process all submissions within 5 days, however this is business days. Therefore, major holidays, as well as Saturday and Sunday do not count in the 5-day review time. Occasionally things will occur that are outside of Associated Content's control and the review time will take longer. They have not once lost an article so do not worry, they will review it in the order it was received.

Question 4. Why have some submissions from the same day received offers while others have not?

Answer - Each topic has a different CM that is responsible for that queue. Therefore, some lines will move faster depending upon the number of submissions in line in front of you, as well as the time it takes the CM reviewing content to read and submit offers.

Question 5. I keep hearing about people being declined, why are they declined?

Awesome info! You really make a living on AC? How many articles do you write a day? Could you elaborate on this? Just curious, thanks :)

Great stuff. My question, though, is what qualifies an article for the 'spotlight'.
