My husband bought me this TV for my birthday in November. The price seemed right for the 32" Wide screen television. The picture was absolutely fabulous and I feel in love with this t.v. For an off brand t.v. this
seemed to the best TV we have ever purchased. Boy were we wrong!!

The ILO television is the worst television on the market today in my opinion. The t.v. worked great for about 2 months and then one day all the buttons on the back of the t.v. wouldn't work. I thought to myself that is really weird so I grabbed the remote and tried to change the channel that way and guess what the remote didn't work either. The only buttons that worked on the remote was the power button and the same for the ILO television. You can imagine how mad I was. My husband try to be really sweet buying me a great gift that turned out to be the biggest disappointment.

I grabbed the booklet that came with the t.v. and started looking for troubleshooting pointers. The only ones they give you are about fixing the picture quality, changing the batteries on the remote and so on. At this point I was very frustrated. My next thing I thought about was to try and go on the Internet and find the website to see if there were any troubleshooting pointers on it. Well guess what? I couldn't even find the website on the Internet. I thought you have got to be kidding me, this great big world of web and there is not one website for this crappy t.v. The only website that I found was a bunch of reviews about how bad this t.v. was and how many other people had problems with it.

The manufactures booklet doesn't give you a phone number for techinical support, no website for help options. I knew at this point the only thing I could do was call Wal-Mart and talk to a manager about returning the t.v. Of course after having the TV for almost 3 months my husband had lost the receipt. I just knew I was going to be stuck with this TV and out the $800 dollars my husband had spent.

  • This TV is the worst TV that Wal Mart sells.
  • The ILO only will last you a few months.
  • Buyer Beware of the ILO Brand.

My still currently works, I don't know for how long.... But it does not have a cable connection so I am unable to watch nothing on it but movies. If I would have known this I would haven't bought it. I had got the TV for my room but I want to watch more then movies.
We have the same problems as everyone else does with this tv. We will NEVER buy another ilo tv from walmart again. This ilo tv worked for about 3 months. The buttons don't work, the remote doesn't work and the sound is shot. When we took the back panel off to see if there was a tech support number to call, we found the electric cord was taped near the tv with electrical tape. What a RIPOFF!!!!
I had the same problems with my ilo television......this is horrible...I would never purchase that brain anything ever again
The problem with walmart is they are dominating the market with products that are crap. This is one of the reasons that neighborhoods dont want them to build in their area. They ruin the business of the good reputable stores that have been there and trusted for many years and even decades. Stores that sale good quality products with good workmanship at good prices. Then walmart comes in and sells crap at more expensive prices. How can walmart get away with this? I use to love going into walmart about 6 to 10 years ago because you could find everything under the sun. Now you have a hard time even finding normal everyday items, the clothing is not great, tools are substandard at prices higher than a hardware store, and the furnature is flimsay. The only thing I have gotten from walmart that lasted any length of time was the plastic garbage can.
walmart sells a lot of items that are crappy like the ilo tv and many other products that end up not working just about the time the 30 to 90 day warrenty runs out. Watch the antivirus discs walmart sells too because when you put the disc in the computer it doesnt give you all it sais you are suppose to get on the package and charges you an extra $20 or $30 (on top of the extra $30 or $50 you already paid) to download what you were suppose to have already purchased. The antivirus with spyware in the little blue and green cover is the one I got that did this, but walmart did return it against their policy for returning discs and programs because I told them how the item is designed to rip you off. This item is also sold in other stores as well. I purchased a dvd player from walmart that broke after a few months. It quit playing dvds. What people dont know is that a lot of these companies make cheap items and know what will happen and so does walmart, so these companies will later on cha
ILO is the worst TV I have ever bought. Yes as you might read it seem to be all true. My TV broke after 4 months and I have no receipts so forget about Walmart taking my back, I tried. Let me tell you this is a lesson to be learned. Don't ever buy anything generic thinking that you are going to save money, cause although some might not have a problem, you might be one like myself that did (and let me tell you it's seems like 1 out of 6 have a problem that has reported so far). I so wished to sue ilo for my $795 for a piece of crap now worth $299 new.
i was doing the serge protector for a while now it just stopped working the red light turns off and it makes a high pitch noise
I could not get my tv to turn on until I plugged everything into a surge protector. I turn it off and then on, and then press the standby button very fast and lightly. It will then come on. Hope this helps someone. I have been doing this for months.
need the phone number for a remote please
To anyone in here who owns a 32LCD inch ILO tv and is about to discard it we would be very much interested in getting the base ( stand ) for it. OUR TV still works for the time being but the base and one of the support rod bare damage and cannot support the tv anymore. no luck in contacting all the toll free numbers found on the net. OUR only option would be one that is about to scrap their tv. if you can help please email at jeanclaude.gagnon@gmail.com
