brand of cheese lover looks to buy fresh blue cheese somewhere else. Cream cheese wontons are loved so much by some persons they take to searching online for cream cheese wontons recipes besides still getting them from their favorite place. Even a knock-off cheese product and main ingredient in Velveeta Baked Macaroni and Cheese is a favorite for other people. This writer is no exception: I, too, have long loved cheese. Hence, my desire to share with you a great extra sharp cheddar cheese I ran across at Wegmans. No matter who invented cheddar cheese nor all the history of cheddar cheese, once you've had Adams Reserve New York Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese I think you'll agree it's one really, really, good cheddar cheese!

The circumstances surrounding my purchase of Adams Reserve New York Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese from Wegmans was because I couldn't find an organic or non-organic cheddar cheese, for that matter, that wasn't making my eyes pop out of my head when I would look at the price. I'm one of those persons who looks for deals on the best quality at the lowest price. Upon comparing the price of the, roughly, one pound wedge of Adams Reserve to the other brands of cheddar cheese I was immediately sold: $6.99 a pound.

As cheddar cheese ages its texture usually gets firmer. I say usually because the firmness of Adams Reserve New York Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese wasn't nearly as firm as what you expect of an extra sharp cheddar cheese. This was a very pleasant surprise. In fact, we found the firmness to be absolutely perfect! It cut, shredded and melted much easier than any other extra sharp cheddar I've ever used, so much so it got me to wondering more and more about the product with every use.
