When I feel a migraine headache coming on--when the light is painful and the slightest noise makes me cry--I grab the Excedrin Migraine. There is never a moment in my household that we do not have a bottle of Excedrin Migraine in the cabinet to help relieve the pain of a migraine headache. The gel tabs are easy to swallow, and Excedrin Migraine is very affordable.

I've tried other pain medications, and medicines that are specifically designed to treat extremely bad migraine headaches. None of them have worked. My physician has prescribed other expensive medicines for me to take once I feel a migraine, but it leaves me drowsy and nauseated. Then I am unable to get back into my daily life's activities. With Excedrin Migraine, I can get back to the things I have to do-work, play, read, anything.

Excedrin boasts on their web site that after taking Excedrin Migraine, a migraine sufferer will:

~have an obvious reduction in pain within 30 minutes of time,

~can get back to partaking in normal activities of daily life,

~and, most importantly, the
pain relief will last.

I can attest to these statements. For almost every migraine that I experience, I can take Excedrin Migraine, and it will go away. Every once in a while, the medicine just can't help, for instance, if the migraine is just too painful (that is when I would have to go to the emergency room for treatment), or if I simply didn't take the medicine soon enough. On average, though, 9 out of 10 of my migraine headaches are relieved by Excedrin Migraine.

How do you know if you are experiencing a migraine headache? I'm not talking about a really bad headache. I am speaking specifically of migraine headaches, which are very different from the pain of a normal headache. These are some symptoms you may experience when you are suffering from the pain of a migraine:

~Pain on one side of the head, that may throb or pulsate

~Pain that is intense and keeps you from completing daily activities

~Nausea or Vomiting

~Visual problems, including an aura in your vision

~Pain or sensitivity to light and sound

~Increased pain from exertion, for instance, walking around the house
