Rosie O'Donnell's Conspiracy Theory: Bill O'Reilly Responds
She's offensive is speech and physical nature, but to be in her position and to support a 9/11-related conspiracy theory takes a lot of guts. She's put the ball in play for the public forum, igniting talk radio switchboards and cable news networks. The theories are out there for mass consumption- so
me of which present a strong challenge to the current history books.
This new round of trouble with O'Donnell began with a March 15th blog entry titled "wtc 7". In it, O'Donnell presented the "facts" to what may have brought down the third building on September 11th, 2001. "Hold on folks, here we go," she types before unleashing a brief list of probabilities, most of which came directly from the cinematic bible for conspiracy theorist, Loose Change.
From Wikipedia: Loose Change is an internet film written and directed by Dylan Avery, produced by Korey Rowe with researcher Jason Bermas. The film presents a 9/11 conspiracy theory to set forth the claim that elements within the United States government planned and executed the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. It is one of the most watched films on the Internet, with over 10 million viewers in 2006.
Coincidentally, an Internet film titled Screw Loose Change is also available. This version, obviously, is a direct challenge to the previously stated "facts" in Loose Change.
Rosie again presented her opinions on live television via her show, The View. Her New York styled "fuck you" glare annoys me. Her rant is far from believable, even if its fact. Hillary Clinton would be proud.
Bill O'Reilly, host of the O'Reilly Factor, took her to task during his March 29th broadcast. His guests for the segment were Bernard Goldberg, a best selling author and political commentator for Fox News, and Jane Hall, also a political commentator for Fox News.
