I've compiled some common and effective supplements. You'll need to rotate on and off supplements generally every 8 - 12 weeks, as your body may not respond as well over time if you don't switch to a different supplement. After taking herbs for six weeks, I recommend you take off one week to allow your body to instigate its own healing response.

A VERY SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE SUPPLEMENT REGIME FOR MILD TO MODERATE IBS
1. Una De Gato to heal and to help eliminate pain - Use TOA-Free Una De Gato if you are experiencing Lyme Disease.
2. Green Drink: Fruits 'n Greens(contains probiotics) to alkalize, soothe, invigorate, cleanse, detoxify, etc.
3. Probiotic product (unless you take Fruits 'n Greens, which contains probiotics) to balance intestinal flora
4. Triphala to tone the bowel and help eliminate
5. Hemp or Flax Seed Powder for fiber
6. Essential Fatty Acid: Choose from Borage Oil, Evening Oil of Primrose, Flax/Borage Oil, Hemp Oil, or Flax Seed Oil for internal lubrication, immune system support, inflammation, hormonal support. Be aware the Evening Oil of Primrose can influence hormonal responses.
7. Peppermint: Peppermint Tea / Peppermint Essential Oil for flares / Pepogest capsules for travel outside of the home to soothe
8. Teas: Chamomile Tea to soothe, Mai-Green Tea to detoxify and help eliminate free radicals
9. Alpha Lipoic Acid for energy and to calm pain
10. Pycnogenol for free radical elimination and immune support
11. Liquid Multi-vitamin
12. Camu Camu or Esterol to support the immune system (Vit. C, Rutin, Quercetin, Calcium, Proanthocyanidins)
13. Additional Enzymes for inflammation, proper nutrient absorption
14. One GI repair product if needed to repair GI tract lining

Want To Do It Yourself? (Never take all or many of these at once! Choose a few single herbs or combinations, or consult with your holistic practitioner to select. It is best to keep to the lowest number of supplements needed. Too many will overwhelm your system.) Here are some suggestions to mix and match:
