I LOVE Seventh Generation's Natural Lavender Dishwashing Liquid! As a crunchy mama of three young children, I only by natural products...no chemicals in this house. So, over the years, I have tried several natural dishwashing products from Ecover to BioKleen, but never really felt satisfied. Either the formula burned my sensitive hands, or didn't get sudsy, or left an orange, greasy ring around my sink and a filmy residue on the dishes. But, that was before I tried Seventh Generation's Dishwashing Liquid. I am hooked! Not only does it not leave my hands red, rashy, burning and dry, it also is more effective overall than the other naturals I've tried. It does a great job on greasy, baked on dishes and leaves no yucky film or residue. A squirt will do you, no need to use lots and lots like I've found with other naturals. It's sudsy and you can see that it's working.

Seventh Generation's Natural Dishwashing Liquid is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, not tested on animals, biodegradable, safe for septic and grey water systems and comes in three varieties: Free and Clear, Natural Lavender and Natural Citrus. If you have ultra-sensitive skin or just prefer an unscented dish soap, try the Free and Clear. It really is difficult in this day and age to find any unscented product. Or, if you prefer a more traditional scent, go for the Natural Citrus. As for me, I much prefer the calm, soothing scent of lavender enveloping me in my kitchen as I scrub a dub the dishes and let my mind wander to meadow filled with wildflowers or an herb patch filled with lavender. Really, lavender is such a nice change from the "Mountain Breeze" scents that are so common today.
The Seventh Generation website now mentions that though the ingredients haven't changed, they've improved the formula to make it even more effective! These changes have apparently resulted in a 90% improvement in cleaning and 40% more suds than before. So, now it's super-sudsy!
