How to Leave An Abusive Relationship

Abusive relationships are a concern for anybody out in the field trying to find their next husband or wife. But, how do we go about identifying an abuser? What sort of signs need we be concerned with?

FBI researchers have cited perverted men as the primary form of an abuser. These men typically keep large stashes of pornographic pictures, magazines and movies. They are addicted to sex and pornography. In addition, the little respect shown for women in these videos just helps reinforce the man's desire for control over his spouse. They are also very demanding, controlling and aggressive.

An abuser also typically carries an unhealthy amount of jealousy around with them. They don't want you seeing either your friends or your family. If you don't listen, they will hurl inflammatory insults and threaten to hurt you. They may try to grab you, hold you and restrain you from leaving. They may even begin to throw objects and damage or even destroy your furniture. An abuser might even force you to have sex with them.

An abuser's goal is for complete control over you and your life. If you feel you are with an abuser, seek immediate counsel with somebody you trust. Your situation has to be deal with immediately. You are risking your welfare and even your life by remaining in such a relationship. As the abuse continues, the abuser's ego will just continue to blossom, as will their aggressive behaviors.

Yet, so many people continue suffering the abuse without trying to find help or just leave. Why is that? Well, a lot of it lies on dependency. We come to love our spouse so much that we keep thinking that things will just miraculously get better. Furthermore, we are scared of what the abuser will do to us. Well, to be quite honest, the abuser will continue to abuse us until we are dead. They don't care about us. They just care about themselves.
