Blades of Glory is about two famous male skaters by the names of Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy. Chazz is the rock and roller and Jimmy is the emo bird. They have a rivalry that gets them kicked out of their Ice Skating Division because of a fight on the medal podium. Then this idea comes along that they could skate as pairs and then a very unlikely friendship is formed. They become a powerhouse on the ice---one in which no one has ever seen quite like it.

I wanted to see this movie since I saw the trailer. What drew me to it were the ideal and the fact that it had Will Ferrell and Jon Heder in it. I was not disappointed. It was funnier than I had anticipated. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole movie once the ending arrived. Ferrell's movies have me laughing most of the time so it was a no brainier that I'd be seeing this movie. Heder has that physical comedy down with his facial expressions that are comical. He, alone, can make a movie so parried with Farrell I had a feeling it would be a great movie and I was right.

There is not a lot that could have been done to make the movie better. Maybe if they added a bit more funny or had a funny clip at the end. Maybe they did have a clip at the end after all the credits. I sort of left as the credits were rolling so I might have missed it. But if it didn't happen then that could make it better. I'm sure on the DVD they'll have outlandish outtakes. That'll make me want it.

There were people outside wanting people's opinions of the movie and I gave mine. One of the questions on the sheet was what were the best scenes? I couldn't list them all. I really loved them all. If I mention one I'll have to mention another and then another and then another.
