After discovering that we were pregnant with twins, we were in need of a larger vehicle to transport the babies along with items such as double strollers, pack and plays, diaper bags, etc. It was then that we purchased our Ford Explorer SUV. We did enjoy the earlier days with that vehicle until the
gas prices started to rise. After paying too much for gas, we made our change to a Mazda 6 Station Wagon.

In 2005 we were experiencing very expensive gas prices and just to fill the Ford Explorer SUV, it was costing $70.00. That would last for about a week and a half or two weeks. With the formula that was needed and the diapers that we were going through, we realized that we needed to trade in our Ford Explorer SUV for something that we would pay cheaper for gas.

As we shopped around for smaller sized Sport Utility Vehicles, we could not find something that thrilled us. It was two months later that we stumbled upon the 2004 Mazda 6 Station Wagon. After test driving it and reading many articles about it, we decided that this would be our newest vehicle to transport our precious ones in.

We have had the Mazda 6 Station Wagon for a year and a half now and we cannot say enough good things about it. It does have wonderful style, performance, and functionality. It does look very sleek and my husband actually feels good being behind the wheel. The gas mileage is excellent. We are now only paying $30.00 to fill the tank and it lasts us for two weeks. There are 356 miles on a tank and it is very good with country roads and highway mileage.

The storage unit in the back is oversized. It measures at 33.7 cubic feet of total cargo volume. It easily stores three strollers, two single and one double stroller. In addition, we can fit our groceries in the back with the strollers. In the summer we are looking to be able to pack our suitcases and strollers in the wagon with no problem. The interior front and back seats are very roomy and we can ride along nicely without leg room complaints.
