Wrestlemania 23 - Donald Trump Vs Vince McMahon
In one of the more bizarre wrestling events, Vince McMahon, the creator of Wrestlemania was facing off against Donald Trump under the title of Battle of the Billionaires: Hair Vs Hair. The loser of the match would have his head shaved on live television.
Trying to figure out what would happen during the match was difficult. It seemed obvious that Donald Trump would not shave his head, but then again, he is a weird character and who knows what he is thinking. Outside of his television shows he is a businessman, so it would be a little strange if he would make that drastic of a style change as part of a wrestling match. Vince McMahon, on the other hand, will do a lot for the entertainment value. If anyone would be visiting the hair stylist this match, it would most likely be Vince, but if Vince did lose the match he would be able to find a way out of actually shaving his head. The odds on the outcome before the match were on Vince McMahon losing, and weaseling his way out of actually cutting his hair.
The match ended up not being a real match of Vince McMahon wrestling Donald Trump. Each billionaire chose a professional wrestler, and the wrestlers would wrestle. The person who chose the losing wrestler would lose the match, and thus have his hair shaved.
The event began dramatically as a mechanically driven portable barber shop made its way to the ring complete with barber chair, barber pole, and an accessory tray filled with scissors and other tools. That entrance was followed by Vince McMahon in a blue pinstriped suit and his wrestler, a huge Samoan and Intercontenental Champion named Umaga. Donald Trump in a dark blue suit made his way to the ring in a rain storm of $100 bills. Trump's wrestler, ECW Champion and former US Army Sergeant Bobby Lashley, was the next man down to the ring. And finally, the Special Guest Referee, Stone Cold Steve Austin, made his way to the ring.
