When my computer monitor decided to turn on for the last time ,I quickly had to find a replacement. I was sure of one thing ,I wanted a flat screen. Assembly was fairly easy,it involved hooking the screen itself to the base and attaching the cord to the monitor.The Samsung 19"Wide-screen (SyncMaster 940BW) LCD Monitor gives you two choices when attaching to your computer.They are Analog and Digital.The one you will use will depend on the video card installed in your computer.I have hooked it up both ways to compare the difference in the view.The Analog view is great compared to the view I had on my old CRT monitor.While the view the Samsung 19"Wide-screen (SyncMaster 940BW) LCD Monitor offers through the Digital hook-up is very life like.I choose to stick with the digital connection.The monitor comes with the cables for both Analog and Digital so there is nothing extra to buy.
