Clairol's Nice N'Easy Root Touch-Up Hair Color Delivers Superior Gray Coverage
It's Nice! It's Easy and it Works!
Coloring your own hair at home takes a lot of time and puts a lot of wear and tear on your hair. My hair is long and mostly gray at the crown. It's about a two hour process to color at home. Trying to apply the color to the roots at the back of your own head is like performing some Tibetan yoga move. This process is not something I want to do at the first sign of gray roots showing. When I first heard about Clairol's Nice N'Easy Root Touch-Up, the 10 minute hair color, I knew I had to try this product. I'm so happy I did.
Clairol's Nice N'Easy Root Touch-Up lived up to its promises. It was quick and easy. The gray coverage was excellent. I was happy the results were the same that I get from the salon. It was easy to pick one of the 12 shades to match my hair color. They even have a helpful chart to match other brands of hair color. Everything you need is included in the kit. You use the applicator brush to mix the Color Activating Lotion with the Permanent Color Creme in the mixing tray. These are the same tools my colorist uses at the salon. The applicator brush made color application a breeze. It helped me precisely put the color where it was needed. The directions recommend placing the color at your part, temples and hairline. The best thing to do is brush your hair into its usual style and then apply the color to the roots that are showing.
It took me less than 10 minutes to apply the color. My grays are color resistant so I left the color on for 20 minutes. You can do a timed strand test to see what your exact development time is. The easy to read directions tell you how to do that. After I've rinsed out the color, I deep condition my hair. I'm actually leaving my hair in better condition than when I started. The results were salon perfect.
