Associated Content has been pretty good to me, so I thought I'd give something back by writing some free content. When writing about sports, I find that I sometimes don't have enough content for a whole article. So, the thought occurred to me to write something akin to an blog. Hopefully I have enough random thoughts to make this a weekly (or even daily) feature.Last night kicked off the start of MLB for 2007. Can't say I stayed interested, as there was a fantastic women's semifinal between UNC and Tennessee. Sorry ESPN, I don't think I'll get too interested in D-Rays v Yankees and Red Sox v Royals today either. I know we're set for about 200 airings of some form of Yanks/Sox from the Worldwide Leader, but match-ups against the two worst teams in
Speaking of the Braves, expect them to regain their form this year. By that, making the playoffs and losing in the NLDS. I kid, but that's probably what will happen. Francoeur looks to have a breakout season. Andruw Jones is in a contract year, so expect a huge season to obtain a huge contract elsewhere for the Scott Boras client. The bullpen has gone from 'worst to first,' and if Hudson regains his form and Hampton regains his arm, then NL East champs could be a good bet.
