Anyone Who Truly Understands the World Can't Support Him Any Longer

Bush has lost the support of most Americans who think. He plays host to the hangers on and his pork barrel "base" that can't get enough of his big spending ways and he ignores the reality of his playpen getting smaller by the day as most people in this country get more and more tired of his saber ra
ttling and tough talk. For all of his macho talk, he has failed to do anything constructive in regards to the so called "war on terrorism" or in stopping nuclear proliferation. This is the most under achieving Presidency that most Americans have yet to witness.

He has failed miserably in every area. Education has been forsaken for the war. Health care has taken a back seat for this war. Fixing the nations infrastructure is not even on his radar screen and every American is fully aware of his failure to come to the aid of New Orleans yesterday and even today. Crime is getting worse and murders are commonplace everywhere in the country. There is not one area where he can truly point to and say that it's better now than when he took office. We as nation have failed to do anything meaningful since he was elected (and I use that word loosely) President.

When (or should I say if) his term is over, he can reminisce with his wife and they can tell each other stories of how he almost got something done. So far he has had a failed life that he has turned into a failed Presidency. His daughter spent a few weeks in Panama with the Peace Corps and now she's going to write a book about it. What is she going to call it? She'll probably call it may weeks with the savages that don't realize her Father is the second coming of Christ disguised as a short, goofy Texan that has a striking resemblance to Alfred E. Newman (my apologies to Mr. Newman).

You guys are dumber than dirt and obviously don't do your homework. The economy is far better off than when Clinton left office. The terrorists are too busy in Iraq to come blow anymore of us up but don't worry, that will change fast if a Democrat is elected president. You listen to too much media bs.

Why is it that everytime a liberal states an opinion they start with "everybody" or "the majority". How do you presume to know what "everybody" thinks?

Good job..the more valid your points the more you draw the ire of the holdouts who still imagine bush is anything but a petulant criminal...when the best they can offer is attacking idiotic strawmen and throwing around right wing jargon, you have struck a chord...

Ahh, how quickly you forget what real corruption looks like. Bill Clinton: Eight Years in Office should give you a quick refresher. Bush hasn't done everything right, but who has? Bush inherited decimated armed services, a demoralized intelligence agency and a failing economy whose "irrational exuberance" was over long before Bush took office. He was the sitting president during the single worst terrorist attack on our soil. There was no precedent on how to handle the extremism we fight today. I guess when Pelosi and Reed get the template ironed out we'll be safer knowing how to handle future terrorist attacks.

Sounds like you are missing the "good old days" when Jimmy Carter was running this country into the ground because he was too afraid to take a stand. It also sounds like you miss the Soviet Union because you believe in the principles it stands for...if only the government could do more to fix education, healthcare and everything else...it would only take the confiscation of money from all of the wealthy people, right? I, for one, support the principles of this country and am glad that the President is willing to take a stand against those in the world who believe otherwise. I don't feel the need to apologize for trying to promote freedom.

In answer to your question "Are reporters and news people actually stupid enough to believe what he say is anything more than the rambling of a madman?" Nope, no more than they are likely to believe you've ever expressed a cogent opinion. Good Luck with that.
