Cash for Clunkers Deals Being Doubled by Jeep Dealerships
Cash for Clunkers deals are being offered by Jeep. These Cash for Clunkers deals at Jeep dealerships are being offered in conjunction with the Cash for Clunkers program that the U.S. government now has running. TheOne of the examples that Jeep dealers are using with their Cash for Clunkers deal, is by starting out with the MSRP on one of their vehicles. For a jeep Patriot that is selling for $18,170, some Cash for Clunkers rebates will qualify for the government voucher of $4,500 or slightly less at the $3,500 value. If their Cash for Clunkers government voucher is worth $4,500 it knocks the price down to $13,670. On top of that Cash for Clunkers rebate, Jeep is also willing to give a $3,500 Customer Cash Allowance on the jeep Patriot, knocking the price down to $10,170 before taxes and fees. That almost knocks the price in half for a new Jeep Patriot, and makes it even more worthwhile to take part in the Cash for Clunkers program.
The rules of this particular Cash for Clunkers program are as follows:
Your vehicle must be less than 25 years old on the trade-in date.
Only purchase of new vehicles qualify ($3,500 or $4,500 rebate depending on trade-in).
Generally, trade-in vehicles must get 18 or less MPG (some very large pick-up trucks and cargo vans have different requirements).
Trade-in vehicles must be registered and insured continuously for the full year preceding the trade-in.
NOTE: Your vehicle trade-in may be worth more than this program, please see your local dealer if you have any questions.
