Great Product- Sony Cybershot DSC-W7 Digital Camera

The Sony Cybershot DSC-W7 is a great digital camera. It has become a standard piece of equipment that I carry with me everywhere for my photo and video needs. The camera has a built-in zoom lens, and then an optical zoom once the photo has been taken to zoom in on an object. There are different features such as taking photos at night, close-ups, scenery, etc. There is a slot to insert a memory stick, so that photos can easily be transferred later to cd or printed as photos. A usb cable is included which connects the camera directly to a printer or computer for transfer of memory. The 7.2 megapixel feature means that the photos are of good quality, close to that of professional quality. Video can be taken with this camera- one of my favorite features. The video can last up to 4 gb worth of data, which equals close to two hours of footage! The only downsides to the camera are with getting the right setting for a good picture, limits to the flash at night and during video shooting, and the fact that memory stick pro's are being discontinued many places.

Pros

1. The camera has a built-in 3x zoom lens. This feature is useful for zooming in on objects and scenes. The zoom feature is somewhat limited, in that it only zooms in 3x. If more zoom is needed, once the photo is taken, digital zoom is available 4x. From what I have observed, it is better to zoom in before taking the picture rather than use the digital zoom once the photo is created to ensure better quality. The reason I chose this camera is that there is actually an attachable zoom lens available for this product, and it is one of the few flat digital cameras that has this feature that is in this price range.
