I admit it, when it comes to soaps and lotions I am the stereotypical girl. If you go into my bathroom you will find a large wicker basket full of soaps, lotions, creams, scrubs, and other assorted toiletries. So you can imagine I was delighted to find the yummy handmade soap available from Flutterby Gifts (www.flutterbygifts.com).

Hand made and hand molded into beautifully designed bars these soaps are a visual treat. But there is more than just looks to these wonderful soaps. With scents like lilac, lavender, mocha, and more these soaps are a treat for your nose as well. Though the luscious scents are not overwhelming they will leave a gentle fragrance on your skin. Made with emu oil, olive oil, and coconut oil these creamy soaps moisturize your skin and leaves you feeling soft and silky all day long.

Each Flutterby Gift soap come in a 4.5 to 5 ounce bar, perfectly sized to fit in the palm of your hand and still last for quite a long time. At $4.50 for each bar they are wonderfully priced as you can easily expect to pay almost twice that price for other homemade soaps. There are also smaller trial sized bars available for $2 each if you want to try the lilac or lavender soaps. If you are feeling adventurous you can buy the trial sized bar called "everything". Made from the left over pieces from all of the unique soaps it is a fun blend that gives you a different experience every time you use it.

I ordered a trial sized bar of the lilac for myself. I was delighted to open the package and pull out the luscious, purple bar. Soft and creamy to touch with a rich scent I fell in love with this soap immediately. Described at Flutterbygifts.com as "a sweet dreamy fragrance" this soap took me back in time to the lilac bushes that grew in my grandmother's garden. Sweet and dreamy perfectly describe this beautiful soap. The rich lather made for a luxurious experience in the bath, and the coconut oil, olive oil, and added shea butter the creamy bar left me feeling as dreamy as the bar afterwards.

That's really cool. My sister in law made me some homemade soap a few years ago. It even came in little hamster faces. It was so cute.
