I can't live without my Franklin Covey Day Planner. It keeps my whole day organized and even keeps track of all my goals and ambitions. The daily inspirational quotes keep me motivated to accomplish what I had set out for myself that day. I always had a hard time keeping myself organized and the Fra
nklin Covey Day Planner was an answer to my troubles. I have two pages for each day so I have plenty of space to write. The Prioritized daily task list lets me prioritize my To-Do list in accordance with the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People book. The daily tracker lets me write down expenses, voice mail messages and my brilliant thoughts. Then over on the right is an entire page for daily notes. I use that part as sort of a Journal of things I was able to do or feelings that I felt. I got the compact size so that it is large enough to read and write in, but it is still small enough to take out on the go.

Inside my planner are pages describing each of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, which include Being Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Private Victory and Public Victory, Emotional Bank Accounts, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand, Synergize, Sharpen the Saw and the planner also goes into some detail on the 8th Habit.

I have space for the names and addresses of all my friends, family and co-workers so I can always keep in touch with everyone. There is also a Values/ Mission Section where it takes me step by step in clarifying my values, identifying and defining my roles and even creating a personal mission statement.

Following that is a Goal Planning section where I can write down my goal and actually subdivide it into mini-goals which I assign a deadline to show the steps required to meet the big goal. There is even a Finance section with Monthly Budget Worksheets to help me keep my financial life in a good working condition. The Key Information section is where I can keep all my on-line user ID and passwords for different websites I am a member of. The Key Information section is the one I refer to most often because I am always forgetting my on-line passwords for various websites.

Mine was extremely useful during my years of social work. Kept an insanely busy schedule organized.
