After becoming pregnant with my third child I realized that I needed a double stroller of some sort. I spent countless hours on the internet looking at all the different strollers out there today, reading reviews, and looking at consumer reports. The style of the BabyTrend Sit-N-Stand stroller was something I had not seen before and I was genuinely interested.

On a few different websites I read reviews of the Sit-N-Stand by BabyTrend, and most parents seemed to be comparing it to the Joovy Caboose. The BabyTrend version costs less and got a better review from those who had tried out both. Thinking this would be a great buy, I went out to purchase one a few months later.

My then 5 year old had a blast standing on the platform on the back when she was tired of walking long periods of time and my 20 month old sat in the front seat where he was able to be strapped in. For their ages, this stroller worked out great. Sure, my 5 year old was plenty old enough to walk on her own, but she thought it was fun to get a ride.

When the baby came in October I attempted to take all three children out by myself while my husband was out at work. I had already attached the bar to the front that holds the infant carrier in place, and was ready to go. I set the infant carrier in, and attempted to close the sunshade, when I realized there was a huge gap. This allowed the sun to peek through and depending upon how the stroller was positioned, my newborn had the sun in her eyes. Another complaint I had was the fact that air was able to come in straight through the back of the sunshade adding to the colic my baby was already experiencing.

The backseat I thought would be perfect for my 27 month old son turned out to be anything but perfect! The pad that was supposed to be on the seat would twist, turn, and slide all over the place. This did not provide support for him to sit there in the seat belt. Since the seat belt was not working for him, he was able to jump out every time I stopped the stroller. This outing turned into quite the adventure. I tried two more times to go out with the children with this Sit-N-Stand stroller and I found something wrong with it each and every time.
