Why, Why Not?

When it comes to Cheating on your significant other, there are many different interpretations of cheating. I, myself, am curious to know everyone's underlining definition of cheating. My first question is why is it Ok for a Woman to kiss another Woman and her boyfriend/Husband, find no grounds to be concerned for cheating?

When it comes to Gay/Straight relationships, there is a lot of noise. I took a poll over the internet and asked "Is it Ok for a Straight Woman to kiss a Gay Woman and have it not be considered cheating?". The responses that came back were very mixed. A gay woman felt that if a Straight Woman kissed them that it would be considered cheating because the Gay Woman had developed feelings. The Straight Woman felt "They were just messing around." . Now, I ponder, is it OK to send those mixed messages?

A kiss is a sign of affection toward whomever you kiss. Your first kiss, a kiss to your parents, a kiss to a sibling, grandparents, your children, a kiss tells you it is full of love. There is many Straight Woman out there toying with a Gay women s' feelings, is it fair? Is it cheating?

Another form of Cheating is conversational. Although there may be nothing physical, are you still at fault? If you happen to "leave out" that you spent the whole afternoon conversing with a person of the opposite sex, is this cheating? Are you feeling Guilty and that is why you left it out? Or are you simply thinking it is harmless behavior? On the poll I submitted, many woman suggested that a Man is hiding something if he neglects to tell you the friend was a female, but other Woman felt it was harmless as long as there was no physical attraction. Men on the other hand, felt that if it was they who were suspected of cheating in this form, felt they were not cheating. As for their wife, if she had left out that it was a Male Friend she was conversing with, she would be Guilty of hiding something? Is that fair? When did men become the choosers of cheating?

So my question to you my friends, when are you cheating? Is there a thing such as Emotional Cheating? Is it fair for a Straight woman to kiss a Gay woman? Is it Cheating?
