Sometimes I feel really icky, as if the funk of the world around me is caking my skin with a dirty and cheese like film. I know this is rather disgusting, and I wouldn't normally share this with the world, but the one thing that makes me feel refreshed is the Shea Body Scrub from the Body Shop. This week I've been doing spring cleaning, and the dust from behind the television, bookshelves, and behind the couch and other furniture has been clinging to me like a bad influence. Funky town could be found on the back of my neck, so I took a long soothing bath.

While I was enjoying the lit candles and the aromatic jasmine and ginger tea oil burning, I stripped my skin of any nasty little microbe and dead skin cell I could reach on my body. I couldn't have done it without the Shea Body Scrub from the Body Shop. Now, my skin is as soft, smooth, and funk free as my home thanks to that wonderful bath product we call the Shea Body Scrub from the Body Shop.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is one of the key ingredients in the Shea Body Scrub from the Body Shop, as you may have guessed from the name of it. Shea butter is an excellent ingredient because it acts to moisturize the skin and soften it. Another great thing about the Shea Body Scrub from the Body Shop is that the shea butter used in this product is bought from a community of Ghanaian women who produce the shea butter. Since they have opened their business to the Body Shop, the women have been able to do wonderful things to improve their lives. They now have indoor plumbing and they can send their children to school and the doctor.

Salt and Organic Sugar

The salt and the organic sugar in the Shea Body Scrub from the Body Shop are giving it the magic exfoliating ability. The Shea Body Scrub from the Body Shop gets the power to strip away all of the dead and dry skin cells and the dirt from behind your bookshelves or maybe the mud from the hiking trip you just went on. The salt is the luxurious sensation of being massaged by the scrub. The sugar does more than exfoliate. The organic sugar is farmed by a group of growers build medical clinics in a desolate part of the world.

Shea butter is one of my favorites! Great article. Unfortunately, we have not had The Body Shop in my area for about 9 years now.
