Official updates about the upcoming Fall 2009 NBC lineup have been released by NBC.com. I am really excited to see new episodes of "The Office" and "30 Rock," but I am so sad to see favorites like "My Name is Earl" and "Medium" not on the list. Here is a TV series preview of the new hit shows from the NBC lineup.

Monday Nights on NBC

A new season of "Heroes" returns on Monday nights at 8 p.m. according to NBC.com. It will be followed by "Trauma" at 9 p.m. and I can't wait to see this show. "Chuck" fans will have to wait until after the 2010 Winter Olympic Games to watch a new season. Although "Trauma" is another medical drama, it still looks like a promising one.

NBC Lineup For Tuesday Night

Fans are eager to see a new season of "The Biggest Loser" which will return from 8-10 p.m. and will probably be inspiring like always.

New Fall 2009 NBC TV on Wednesday Night

Wednesday nights welcome NBC's new medical drama "Mercy" on September 23 from 8 to 9 p.m. and is scheduled to replace "Parenthood" which will debut in 2010. NBC will bring back "Law & Order: SVU" for another season at 9 p.m.

Thursday Nights Fall Primetime Line up

Thursday Nights marks the return of live comedy with "SNL Thursday" at 8 p.m., "Parks and Recreation" at 8:30 p.m. and "The Office" during the 9 p.m. time slot. New episodes of "30 Rock" return in October, but in its place is the new comedy "Community" with Joel McHale from "The Soup." It looks like a funny show and is the one I am most eager to see this fall.

NBC Lineup for Friday

"Law & Order" returns for its 20th season at 8 p.m. on Friday nights. "Southland" airs right after it from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. making Friday nights perfect for those who love crime dramas.

Saturday Night NBC Fall Lineup

Saturdays start off at 8 p.m. with "Dateline NBC." Viewers who missed "Trauma" on Monday night can catch it again during an encore screening at 9 p.m. on Saturdays. An encore of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" also airs at 10 p.m.

Fall NBC Lineup for Sunday Night

"Football Night in America" starts at 7 p.m. and is followed by "Sunday Night Football" at 8 p.m. The "Jay Leno Show" will take the 10 p.m. time slot on NBC every weeknight.
