This simple Baseball Bat Picture Frame craft project is a great way to make a baseball inspired projec
t for the wall. This simple baseballs bat Picture Frame is perfect for a child's room or even a home office. You can hang it over the desk a have something great to look at while you work!

You can make this simple Baseball bat Picture Frame for about $40 or less. You can make it for a lot less if you already have some baseball bats you don't mind drilling a hole in.

To make a Baseball Bat Picture Frame You Will Need:

Now, the first set is to measure how long your baseball bats are. You and do this simple project with mini baseball bats as well.

Now, have you sheet of plywood cut into a square that is about three inches linger and wider than your baseball bats are long. So, if your wood baseball bat is 30 inches long, then you will want your plywood square to be 33 inches by 33 inches.

Now, cut out your sheet of Plexiglas to 33 inches by 33 inches, or whatever sizes your plywood square is.

You can paint your sheet of plywood if you would like to tie the whole look together.

Let it dry.

Now, place your Plexiglas on the plywood sheet. Line the edge up and press it into place.

Now, take your four baseball bats and drill a hole in each end of the bat. I like to tape my baseball bats down on a flat work surface and then drill a hole in about 2 inches form each end. Make sure the holes are in the same place on each bat.

Now, lay you bats out on the board and glue a thin marker slipped through the predrilled hole in the bat to make a mark on the corkboard and the Plexiglas. This will tell you where to pre drill your hole on the Picture Frame. I like to overlap the bats, so there are only four holes in the Picture Frame, but you could lay the bats out in a square and attach them all with 8 screws, 2 per bat.

Now, If you are using four holes, then you want to place you baseball bats so that thin ends where the handle are will overlap the fat end of the other bat.
