Now, I like to use small vanilla tea candles for this homemade wedding favor. You can buy them for so little money! Tiny votive candles would also work well!

You can find great and cheap tea candles and votive candles at Michaels Arts and craft store. They sell for between 25 cents and 50 cents a piece. Now that is a bargain.

Now, for the beads on this simple Tea Candle Wedding Favor I recommend using those great little glass beads that kids use for friendship pins. They are the perfect size and look so nice and even on the candle.

Now, go ahead and pour a bunch of your small glass beads out in the aluminum cookie sheet. I like to stick with all silver beads, but you can use almost ay color combination that suits you.

Use the paintbrush and dip it into some of the white glue. Paint the bottom 2/3 of the votive candle or tea candle. Be sure to paint on a nice thick coat of glue. It will dry clear, so even if you use a colored tea candle, it will not look funny.

Now, take your glue coated tea candle and roll it into the color glass beads. If you are having trouble really coating the candle you layer of beads may not be thick enough in the aluminum cookie sheet. You can pick up handfuls of the beads and sprinkle them onto the candle where the glue is.

Now, once you have a thick coat of silver glass beads on the candle, gently tap it not the cookie sheet to knock off any excess beads.

Stand the wedding favor candle up in a safe place to let the glue dry.

Now, repeat this step on your other Tea Candle Wedding Favors.
