Now, once you have bought you wood Canister Set you can determine what design or words you want to engrave with your wood burning tool. I recommend small designs or words. You can engrave your "flour" or other words in the middle, then concentrate on small patterns that highlight the lines of the canisters.

Now, you can do anything from simple words to a more difficult image. The trick is to transfer it to your wood Canister Set.

Lay your wooden Canister Set out on a sheet of white paper. Trace the shapes of each individual canister out. Mostly you need to sketch how wide and tall each side is. Now, you will need to work slightly smaller inside of this area you traced.
