Tango Wins I Love New York and a New Fiancé
After weeks and weeks of VH1's I Love New York (spinoff of Flavor of Love 1&2) New York (aka
Tiffany Pollard) finally chose 1 man for herself out 20. Tango (aka Patrick Hunter) was chosen by the ghetto bombshell herself.
After visiting a tropical destination and spending time with the 2 remaining men, Chance and Tango, they both stood side by side in order to hear their future fate. New York described Tango as "her rock" and being what she really needed, but also being her total opposite. Throughout the show, Tango tried to keep a balanced mind, but also seemed to have fallen in love with New York early in the game. Chance on the other hand, was a true "thug", and even New York said that Chance "pushed her around". She described Chance as being the exact same as her and being what she wanted.
Soon after a brief pause, New York chose Tango, and left Chance extremely upset. When New York tried to consult Chance, he brushed past her without even a proper good-bye, exiting through the door behind her. Once he exited the house, he met up with New York's mother, his enemy from the start. The only words she had for him was "I told you so", ridiculing him for not taking the money she offered him to leave the mansion on a previous episode.
Tango was so surprised and exited, as soon as New York handed him the final "I Love New York" chain, he got down on one knee and proposed to New York, diamond in hand. After collecting herself, New York gladly accepted, but thoughts of her readiness for marriage circulated from her uncertainty within the few closing moments.
A reunion episode will be soon to follow.
