And the Winner of VH1's I Love New York Show is ..

TANGO!

Tango, a/k/a Patrick Hunter a/k/a The Tan Man wins it, after dragging it out as long as possible, of course, including a recap show that promised a lot of never-before-shown footage. There really wasn't that much. In the aftermath of Whiteboy's elimination, didn't I predict that possibility? Yes, I did! (In the comments, not the article).

Still, it is a surprise especially when Tango seemed to be giving a "loser's speech" on his myspace prior to the show:

"After you watch the last episode of that "Certain show", Look back and Think. If your a female ask yourself "Isn't that the kind of Love, Respect and Passion you want from a man"? If your a Man Ask yourself " Aren't I supposed to treat a female with that kind of Respect?". There was the typical reality show "Funny, Pretty-Boy, Ghetto, Thug-like, Crazy and Outrageous Guys"...Then there was ME. I am the difference, I gave you the alternative. I gave you someone to relate to. Even under the most unlikely Conditions on the most unbelievable show.... I still gave you a champion."

Tango goes on to indicate that he'll be off myspace for a while. He cryptically tells viewers to try to separate fact from fiction. Whatever that means remains to be seen.

Tango, who is 26, hails from Tampa, Florida. He is a rap artists who has performed and recorded with several well-know artists including, Busta Rhymes, Wu-Tang Clan, Fat Joe, Naughty By Nature, Trick Daddy and his good friend and mentor "Shock-G," front man of the group Digital Underground.

Throughout the series, Tiffany has shown a marked attraction to Chance a/k/a Kamal Givens, over her mom, Sister Patterson's vociferous objections. Sister Patterson even went so far as to offer Chance 10K to take a hike. But nothing could get Chance kicked off the show. Concealing a child? No problem, sweetie - next time just let me know. Terrorizing Mr. Boston - that's okay, we'll get rid of him before you and your brother seriously hurt "his white ass." Until now, that is. Tiffany finally realized at last that her wild nature and Chance's violent temper would clash constantly, and that she needed a more stable guy.
