Traffic

This is so new to me
It only used to be like this on Mondays throught Fridays
funny how all of that has changed.
It now goes on all days of the week
and it never ends for anyone.
Most people have new vehicles
and they want to take them to work
but some of them are reckless
and they end up causing the back-ups.
I spend my time in it for almost an hour a day
and while I am in it
I listen to the radio play
there are hundreds
maybe even thousands in it with me.
Most of us get restless
or we cause accidents just so that we can escape it.
While I am in it I see an accident
and I wonder if the person is alive or dead
but I cannot stop and stare
because millions of people will honk their horns in the air.
