During one very late night I encountered both mild insomnia and writers block. In efforts to spark some sort of muse I stared at the Google search engine wondering what to look up for an article to write. Well the one word that was staring right back at me was Google, so I googled it.

This is what I found when I googled Google.

Google Moon -You may have noticed that Google Earth is very popular but how often do people visit Google Moon? I didn't even remember it, it has been around for almost two years, but I did enjoy visiting it again. Now Google Moon is in no way as vast or detailed as Google Earth however it was a very nice gesture of Google to create it in honor of the first manned Moon landing, July 20, 1969. You will be very impressed with the zoom though, try it and you will see what I mean.

Google Mirror - I don't know how practical this search engine is but it is completely functional. At first I was disappointed when I typed in Bunting Resources and didn't see a mirror image of the real Google search result for that phrase, but then I typed in secruoseR gnitnuB and I was given another version of these results that were reversed. No it wasn't an exact mirror image, but I still think that it is a pretty humorous creation and very clever.

Googlefight - This is an online calculator that compares the number of results that two words or phrases get. So you can fight the words green and blue and see who comes out on top. This actually can be useful when you are considering keyword density, I discovered that WAHM was much less than Work at Home Mom. I know that I probably did a dozen more of these Googlefights and some of the results I was actually surprised about, overall the site was quite fun and silly.

Fun and interesting, thanks for sharing something fun to do when you're bored. Something you might try, if you haven't already is to go to google maps and look for directions from NY.NY to Paris,France. Scroll down to direction #24.
