We are Robots is an online flash cartoon created by Brian Frisk. The cartoon is hosted on Frisk's website thefrown.com and We Are Robots has attained something of a cult status among flash cartoons. The scheme is constructed as a series of vignettes, done in a biographical sketch/reality television show format. Several robots, each with a name that describes a particularly strong character trait perform and sometimes interact with one another in their own cartoons, usually lasting between three and five minutes. Meet the cast of We Are Robots.

Angrybot

Angrybot is the robot on We Are Robots with the most glaring anger-management problem. He is a red, perpetually frowning robot who teaches a high school music class. Constantly crass and never hesitant to throw insults at women, store clerks, telemarketers, or anyone else who even remotely pisses him off.

Golden Quote: "You don't like it? Well, suck my steel expansion rod. You're fired, fired from school. Now go home and eat some powdered bleach or whatever. In fact, listen up everybody, you're all fired from school! Now go home and your homework is to eat bleach and DIE. I bet they won't do it. Worth a try."

Sad Robot

Sad Robot is the perpetually morose denizen of We Are Robots. A gloomy, hunched over blue robot who works in a real estate office, he never met a situation that he couldn't find the worst in. If you've ever known a constantly pessimistic person, you might want to send them this cartoon.

Golden Quote: "The worst part is the pain and the sorrow, that knot my heart like millions of tiny, very evil gnomes. Or doves. Evil doves."

Robokopf

Robokopf is the self-proclaimed artistic genius of We Are Robots. Speaking like a flamboyantly gay Frenchman with a superiority complex, his ego eclipses the most deluded megalomaniac. Despite his ego-centricity, he still works at an electronics store. All of his works showcases himself as the centerpiece, and he has an unclear relationship with his assistant Frankel.

Golden Quote: "Whip me Frankel! Punish me, damn you! Flay me like a bad pony! I'm a terrible, mean pony!"

Cool! I have to check this out. What is the website? Is it on Utube? I am always at Utube. The pessimistic robot reminds me of Marvin the robot in HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy. Hilarious. I always like the angry robot too. Great aricle. Bye
