Another Child for Angelina Jolie?

(And Baby Makes Five...)

It has been reported that Angelina Jolie is planning to adopt yet another child. Recently undergoing some difficulties with her latest addition to the family, PaxThien, Jolie has decided that her family needs a little "balance."

TWO LITTLE GIRLS?

An inside source has claimed that Angelina Jolie wants to create a racial balance in her family. Per the source Angelina feels that her daughter Zahara, who was adopted from Ethiopia, may feel alienated by not seeing

any more "black faces" in the family.

Sources also reveal that Angelina has her sights set on a one year-old little girl from Oure Cassoni, in Africa. It is reported that she has already begun the adoption procedures, and has contacted lawyers. This inside source has told Britain's News of the World newspaper, that she is also hoping to have her new daughter home with her by the summer of 2007.

THE GROWING BROOD

In the past, Jolie has intimated that she would like to increase the size of her family. She has claimed that both she and her lover, Brad Pitt would like to raise their children while they are both still "young enough" to do so. Most recently she has claimed that she would like a more balanced family. Adding another little girl to the bunch is also another way to "even out" the male/female ratio in the Jolie-Pitt household. Additionally, she wants to prevent Zahara from feeling isolated (as the only black child in the household) as she grows older. She was quoted as saying:

"Should you balance the races, so there's another African person in the house for Zahara, after another Asian person in the house for Mad? We think so."

About her daughter Shiloh, Jolie says: "Shiloh has Brad and me to look at."

An additional adoption would put Angelina Jolie's and Brad Pitt's growing brood at five: Maddox, adopted from Cambodia is five years old. Two year-old Zahara was adopted from Ethiopia. The couple's biological child, Shiloh is just a month or so shy of a year. And their recent addition Pax Thien, was just officially adopted from Vietnam.
