For today's work-at-home mom landing a job as a Sex Industry Professional can be both tricky and, at times, confusing. Once your search for the perfect opportunity begins, you are sure to find numerous companies seeking "fantasy actresses" for immediate employment.

Many work-at-home moms, myself included, see a career in the sex industry as the perfect solution to their family's financial problems. After all, you get to work from home, be available for your children when they need you, and you can make hundreds, possibly even thousands of dollars a week with very little effort, right?

Not necessarily. At least not in the beginning.

Working in the sex industry is difficult. You need to have a vivid imagination, be open minded, and be flexible in the hours that you can work, as many companies prefer you to work the graveyard shift. Also you should be prepared to spend numerous hours glued to your computer or phone, and most importantly you need to be willing to hide your profession from the people in your life that might not understand...including your spouse or significant other. This can be difficult, especially if you've grown accustomed to sharing every aspect of your life with your family or you are coming into this from a religious background.

We all know that most people consider any job in the sex industry to be morally wrong, but it is still a real job and you will need to treat it as such. Yes, you will be lucky enough to work in your favorite tattered sweat pants and bunny slippers if you so choose, but you still have to commit to it like you would a regular 9 to 5 job, otherwise you will never reach your financial goals.
