Take Dad Out in Savannah for Father's Day

We wrack our brains trying to make Mother's Day special. Why not do the same for Father's Day? Our dads have worked so hard, raised a family, and tried to teach us about life. We owe it to them to show them how much they've been appreciated all these years. The Savannah area has so many great things to do and places to go or to eat on that weekend, that no dad ought to have to just open another boring package again and find a tie. Luckily there are some ways to really make dad feel special this Father's Day.

Why not take a couple of hours to take the entire family for a tour on a pontoon boat to view the dolphins in the inlets and marshlands around Savannah? It's only a 90-minute ride and there's a canopy for shade. Bring some sunscreen, nevertheless. All the tour captains are also pretty savvy about the area, and it's a lovely way to spend a short afternoon on Father's Day. It's $44.95 and $27.95 for kids under 12. Kids under 3 get on free. There's dancing if you like and wonderful music from swing to old rock.
