The Smart Glove by IMAK Products Corporation is the best thing I've ever tried for helping relieve my hands while typing on the computer. The Smart Glove fits snugly over your hand, or both hands if you need support of both hands, and has a stiff, but flexible bar sewn along the top. This bar helps keep your wrist straight, but it's very comfortable. Then there's the little bean bag filled pillow that sits under the palm of your hand. This forces the hand to be raised up into an ergonomic position.

Since so many people type on computers these days, wrist support is essential. Wrist and finger pain, sometimes leading to carpal tunnel syndrome, is one of the most common complaints from computer users. Poor positioning of the hands on the keyboard is the primary cause of the repetitive motion stress injury to this part of the body. There are a number of different ergonomic keyboards and track ball mice available, but if the injury has already been done, it may be too late. Therefore, it's advisable to use a good keyboard, mouse and wear the Smart Glove well in advance of any pain.

In addition to being comfortable and easy to use, the Smart Glove is attractive. Nobody wants to be seen wearing something ugly, but the Smart Glove has a sleek design that's very unobtrusive and can easily be slipped on and off. The bean bags elevate the wrists into the correct position and help reduce pain and strain to the hands.
