The pastime of beer pong is legendary to say the least. Beer pong is a mindless activity, but demands the expertise and precision of a drunken mind. The game of beer pong is not only exciting but can get awfully rowdy and competitive. The ultimate purpose of the game does not require winning. It requires having fun and getting drunk with fellow acquaintances that you may have otherwise had an awkward/boring time with.

This game was introduced in a frat house some time ago on a Friday night. This simple game was passed on by word of mouth from party to party and is now recognized worldwide. You are unable go find a slamming party with a ping pong table and no beer pong. It just doesn't happen. Anyone can view beer pong at any fraternity house on a Friday or Saturday night. The game has become so popular that even full grown adults are now taken part in this amusing, entertaining game.

The materials for the game are relatively inexpensive only requiring a few dollars. The materials include one ping-pong table (usually provided) a couple ping-pong balls and 24 cups. Any sporting goods store carries Ping-Pong balls and the cups you could purchase about thirty at a Dollar General. If you are unable to provide a table of your own, you shouldn't stress it. Ping-pong tables can easily be constructed with cinder blocks and plywood or a good ole' picnic table will do the job. The last part of beer pong of course is the beer. This is reasonably inexpensive also if you purchase the right beer. Natural Light and Milwaukee's best usually do the job. The rules of beer pong portray the simplicity of the game. Four players are required to play, two on each side. Each player possesses their own rectangular square. Each team assembles their beeramid on their respected sides.
