Hewlett Packard Brand Review

I was never the type of person who was 'brand loyal' until I started purchasing Hewlett Packard products. Starting in 2003 when I made my first HP desktop PC purchase I've never looked back. The Hewlett Packard website was so easy to navigate and ordering was a snap.

In the past I've owned: Emachines, Dell, Gateway and Acer. None of these brands even came close in comparison to Hewlett Packard.

I custom ordered my desktop PC from the HP website. I started out with a basic HP Pavilion 554y computer and upgraded the features I was interested in. When I couldn't pick between (or I should say really know the difference between) options, one click of the mouse gave easy to understand details about each choice. It was also a slight boost to my purchasing pleasures when I'd upgrade one option and get another free upgrade for something else.

I've only had one or two issues with my HP desktop computer. Those issues were computer ignorance on my part. I didn't renew the anti-virus software (I was given a free one year membership to Norton Anti virus) and I acquired a computer virus. I needed some assistance from HP to help get rid of it. Hewlett Packard gives you the option to telephone (for free) customer service, email customer service (for free) or engage in a free customer service on-line chat session. In no time at all, my computer was back to running at peak performance.

To keep on topic with why I'm so satisfied with Hewlett Packard brand products, a valuable feature (to me) was the ease of correcting any major mistakes I made. Unlike other computer's I've come in contact with, a simple (shown every time on the main boot up splash screen) press of a button allowed me to bring my computer back to factory specs. In no time at all I was able to make my computer think I just purchased it again.
