Endometriosis can cause adhesions and scar tissue to form that can disfigure a women's internal anatomy even in severe cases causing internal organs to fuse together causing a condition known as "Frozen Pelvis"
The most common symptom is pelvic pain. Often this pain associates to the menstrual cycle, but for some women they may feel pain even when they are not menstruating. This pain can be so debilitating that it has an impact on ones quality of life in a significant way.
Dealing with this disease for over ten years I was put on many types of pain medicines and bounced from specialist to specialist then finally I was just fed up. The last pain medicine I was on was Duragesic I was on it so long they thought I would have to detoxify off of it. It was scary. The medicines killed the quality of my life and left me in bed for months on end. This was no way to live with a small child running around. I had started to search for new methods to deal with my Endometriosis. I had figured it was time to take matters into my own hands. To this day I am glad I did.
Yoga is one thing that helped me get my body back into shape and make me more aware of my body. I was able to meditate and put myself into a more comfort zone when the pain got really bad. I am not going to kid you though and try to pretend this worked 100% or even took my pain away. It didn't, but it helped a lot. With a combination of things I was able to get my life back and start to live with a lot less pain. I researched into homeopathic methods for endometriosis and found that a combination of the yoga, a homeopathic remedy called Endo-EX, and meditation worked wonders it didn't start out working but I knew it could take a couple of cycles, I am glad I stuck to it and didn't give up.
