Do you dread going to your job? Is your boss giving you a hard time? Are your coworkers slackers and do they blame you for the drops in sales and production? Well, maybe you want to just let it slide off your shoulders and get an attitude adjustment. You may want to think about getting a passport, brushing up on speaking a foreign language, or taking some night classes in digital technology. Tell me about it. I work at a landscape design firm through a temp agency and the boss laid off 4 of his workers last Friday. Another firm which is close with this one recently laid off 6 architects. So it's a reality. Unemployment lines are getting longer but I thank God every day that I work for a temp agency. It's always a guaranteed job and I was even offered a job AT the temp agency the day these 4 people got laid off. I feel so lucky.
