Have you been looking for a way to end heartburn suffering for good? Do you spend your hard earned money on medication in order to temporarily relieve heartburn pain, but it always comes back again? Heartburn is a common problem for many people, and there is a solution that doesn't involve purchasing remedies that wear off quickly and leave the throat burning again.

If people are interested in how to cure heartburn for good then they should consider what heartburn is and how it can be stopped. There is a muscle that opens and closes in order to let food pass through the esophagus and into the stomach. Sometimes this muscle relaxes and stomach acid escapes into the throat which causes heartburn. So, how can that muscle be stopped from opening when it isn't supposed to?

One way heartburn can be avoided is by breathing. All the muscles in the body need oxygen in order to work properly, and if they are not getting enough oxygen then they may not do their job properly. Try breathing deeply before and after eating and see if it helps avoid symptoms.

Look at what is being eaten and change the diet. If heartburn occurs every time after eating sausage, then stop eating sausage. Pay attention to what food causes heartburn and avoid that food. Don't only keep track of what is being eaten, but also when you are eating. Avoid eating right before exercise or before lying down. Extreme exertion on the muscles can cause stomach acid production to increase and one has recently eaten then that can cause heartburn. If people eat right before they lay down then they are making it easier for the stomach acid to escape because the stomach becomes more level with the throat when they are lying down.
