I don't imagine many people shop around for something as unimportant as a wallet. A wallet is a wallet, right? Wrong. Something that's going to carry your money, credit cards, identification, social security, and other various things of value, is in fact something to consider. Not to mention if it's going to fall apart, you're going to have to replace it. A couple dozen dollars here and there, no big deal? It actually adds up, though. If you want to invest in something that will save you money, time, and maybe even hassle, then I strongly recommend a Fossil wallet.

Fossil, known for their durable and affordable watches also offer another outstanding product. I might be biased since I haven't actually experimented with other wallets, but the fact is... I haven't needed to. Ever since I upgraded from the Velcro wallet I had when I was younger, I've not only had the same brand of wallet, but the exact same one. That's right, I haven't gotten a new wallet in seven years. The leather has only faded minimally, the pockets haven't stretched any, and overall it's like brand new.

I can remember every year at Christmas, my parents would get my brother a new wallet. It wasn't just some silly ritual either, he actually used the wallet for what it was worth in a year. My Fossil has been through everything and has maintained its value for a rough seven years. It's seen the salty, harsh waves of the Atlantic ocean. It's been coated with sand and fish scales. It's been stuffed with dozens of old receipts, one dollar bills, papers, and cards. It's endured chlorine, bromine, and God knows what other chemicals. It's even been through the wash several times. I'd say after holding up for seven years through such harsh conditions, it's definitely a smart investment.

Measuring at 3.5"H x 4.25"L x 1"W, it's not a very bulky wallet either. Since it's been so long, I can't name the exact model of my wallet, but it is very similar to the "Heath Traveler" and has eight card pockets, two identification windows with durable plastic, and two key holders. The leather is top-quality, and it's made very well.
