Many say that college is the best four years that one has in a life time. A time for experiment, discovery, and for most, the first time for a chance to explore this new sense of independence. One of the first things that are thought about when one begins to live on campus is the Greek life. Usually within the first week or two that school starts, Greek organizations show pride in their letters and try to get the new comers involved in their fraternity. Numerous people would then turn the sororities or fraternities down because of the past stories that were involved in these organizations; however, there are many reasons as to why someone should join a Greek organization such as, opportunities to network, sense of making a difference, and scholarship. Despite the many stories, being in a Greek organization would help one's life in many ways, and in retrospect, joining a Greek organization is one of the best organizations to get involved in on a college campus because the benefits last a lifetime.
