This system included WPA2 & EMM SecureEasySetup, and It has four ports for networking, 54Mbps Wireless-G (802.11g) Access Point. Push button instant setup makes connecting your system a breeze. Included in the box is the installation CD, the router , a connection cord, and an ac adapter for the router. This also comes with free tech support 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
My husband picked this up for me at Radio Shack there was a sale so I bought it for 49.99. I opened the box and started with the installation CD, everything went smooth until I got to the point where it asked what type of Internet access I had, I did not see broadband on the list. I thought to myself " Well there is free tech support, lets call". I called the 1-800 number and got right through to a support specialist. She told me that she would go ahead and stay on the line with me until I was completely hooked up. I was thrilled, she was very nice and helpful. Then 25 minutes later I was completely wireless. After exchanging goodbye's I decided it was time to try out this new item, first I connected to the Internet then I walked outside. I wanted to see how much range this thing had.
So I started walking, refreshing the Internet explorer as I went, I got to my mothers house next door about 150 feet before I lost a signal. After testing this wireless connection last night, I can honestly say that its pretty fast, it does not seem as fast as when the connection was directly plugged into the computer. But it does work well and has great range. So I would say this is definitely worth the money, plus I can work outside in the fresh air while writing my articles. And not be hunched over the kitchen table!
