There are many different kinds of activities that you can involve your kid in if you live in New York City. You can take them to museums, zoos, or even to Central Park! Listed below are some of the places where you can take them. Not only are the places educational, but they're all inexpensive too!

1. Take your child to The Brooklyn Children's Museum to explore different aspects of life. They can learn about the diverse cultures around the world, arts, science, and even about the environment! Brooklyn Children's Museum offers daily workshops and activities for children to participate in. In addition to that, weekly multicultural performances are held on weekends. Admission is only $4 per person. Check their website or call them for information to find out when they're opened because times vary on different days.

2. The Children's Museum of the Arts is a great place to stop by with your children if they like art. The museum offers a lot of hands on activities for children while they tour the gallery. The museum is designed to look like an art studio. Children can create art while at the museum. Materials for sculpting and creating collages are provided. With so many different things to play with, your children may get creative and may want to stay for several hours! Admission is $5 per person. It's open on Wednesdays from 12pm-7 but on Thursdays-Sundays, they close at 5pm.
