Excellent article. People don't realize how damaging stress is to their bodies and how it shortens lives. I quit practicing law and moved away from NYC because of the stress. I suffered stomach problems, insomnia, and I abused substances. I wised up at 29. Some don't figure it out until it's far too late. Thanks for the article. A perfect reminder.

In our society people are so stressed, even children. We really need to be alert to the dangers you so ably pointed out and take steps to reduce stress.
