Paris Hilton Threatens to Sue MTV

Back in January of this year, the hotel heiress herself, Paris Hilton, filmed a skit for the opening episode of an MTV show called ShortCircuitz. However, she nows fails to see the funny side of the skit, especially after her recent run-in with the law, which could result in jail time.

The skit features Paris promoting plastic (livestrong-style) "What Would Paris Do?" bracelets in a scripted infomercial. The infomercial also included scripted scenes within the skit. One clip was a blonde being pulled over in a sports car for drunk driving. As the cop pulls her over she
looks at her bracelet and thinks "what would Paris do?". Then the blonde starts grinding against the cop. The officer tells her "I can arrest you, you're too fabulous."

Paris Hilton was arrested on February 27, 2007 for driving on a suspended license on Sunset Blvd in her Bentley. Her license was suspended for 36 months, but she claimed she didn't know it was suspended, neither did her publicist and consultant.

Last week, Paris and her lawyers demanded that MTV remove the skit from the show or a hard lawsuit will be coming their way.

The show is still scheduled to air tomorrow.
