How to Set Up Your FAQ in PHP Nuke

In this guide I will show you how to set up your FAQ section in PHP Nuke. When you install PHP Nuke you have a FAQ page but there is nothing on the page, so it is left up to you to create the questions and answers. Go ahead and log into your admin panel.

Look in the second box of icons and click on the FAQ Icon. When the page reloads, scroll down to FAQ Administrator box. You will see a field that says Add a New Category. It is best to go ahead and add your categories. Then you can go back and add your questions and answers. Go ahead and type the name of a category. Select your language and click Save. Scroll back down when the page reloads and enter another category. Continue doing this until you have all of your categories.

Next, you will see your list of categories in the Active FAQ's table. Go to the far right of the category that you want to add a question and answer to and click the first icon in the Function column. The icon looks like a sheet of paper. When the page reloads, scroll back down and you will see two fields where you add your question and then the answer to that question. Then click the Save button. The page will reload and you can enter another question and answer for that category.

To change categories, click the FAQ icon and then scroll the page down to the Active FAQ table. Then click on the paper icon for the category that you want to add questions and answers too. Do it the same way that you did before.

To edit a category name, do the following. Click on the FAQ icon. Scroll down to the Active FAQ table and locate the category that you want to edit. Click the icon to the far right that looks like a sheet of paper with a pencil. The next page will have the title field. Change the title and then click the Save button.

To edit a question or answer, do the following. Click on the FAQ icon. Scroll down to the Active FAQ table and locate the category that your question or answer is in. Click the icon to the far right that looks like a sheet of paper. The next page you will see a list of questions and answers. Locate the question and answer that you want to edit. Go to the far right and click the first icon. You can edit your question or answer on the next page.
