Spring has arrived in all its glory and the fever has taken hold. Not only are people itching from pollen, they are itching to get out and brush away the winter doldrums. The best part of this time of year is the renewal of body and spirit. It is Spring Decorating Time! There are many ways to refresh and renew your home and while doing so it is a good idea to implement the art of Feng Shui. Take stock of the changes that you would like to make and get started.Clearing clutter is going to be the best first step to take. Open your windows, let in fresh air and cleanse your home. Anything you may have let hang around for the winter should be evaluated and either stored or tossed. Keep in mind that every inch of your property is crucial to Feng Shui, therefore it is not a good idea to shove your clutter from one space to another. Your front entrance is considered the "mouth" of your home. All energy will flow in from this point making it the ideal spot to begin adding Feng Shui touches. Adding red or pink flowers in planters will attract more love into your life. Opting for purple flowers or plants with large shiny green leaves will be financially beneficial. A water feature in the right front corner of your home will help to direct helpful people into your life as well as opportunities for travel.
Romance blooms in the spring as well as beautiful blossoms. Feng Shui is a helpful tool to use in this area as well. The right rear corner of your home is your love and romance area. This is a wonderful spot to decorate with vibrant shades of red or pink. Add some flowers to a table top or change your linens for the season. Pairs of any items are beneficial as well. A pair of red candles or a piece of art depicting a happy couple are fabulous additions to this area. What happens if your home is an odd shape and this area is missing? This is a simple problem to remedy. Secure the missing corner of your home in the yard. A comfortable pair of outdoor chairs with planters holding red or pink blooms would do the trick. Adding a torch to bring fire to the area surely would help to add some fire to your romance.
